Crofting Discussion Group Gairloch – Feeding the Flock
Join Us for a Meeting on Pre-Lambing Nutrition.
Gairloch Community Hall, 27th January.
Successful lambing depends on meeting a ewe’s nutritional needs throughout pregnancy. This is especially important in the final six weeks, when most foetal growth occurs and the ewe is also developing her udder and producing colostrum.
High energy and protein demands continue into lactation, and the ewe’s nutrition and health directly influence the growth and performance of her lambs.
Please have your tea before you come, cuppa and cakes provided.
Don’t miss this chance to learn practical tips for supporting healthy, productive ewes and lambs in a friendly, relaxed setting!
