Livestock records can be a complicated and daunting task to get your head round, especially if you are new to it or if you are not starting from an ideal position. However, it is a crucially important one for various reasons and one we can help you tackle.

This course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create and keep your own sheep records using an Excel spreadsheet template, give you a fuller understanding of compliance criteria, and enable you to spot and resolve the most common record keeping issues reported during RPID inspections.

We will work through theory and hypothetical scenarios before asking you to work on your own flock record with our support.

The training will be as practical as possible, so for part of the course you will need to bring flock data with you to work on.

Starting on the 26th June – contact the Lerwick SAC Office to book your place.
