Culteuchar Grazing for Profit and Biodiversity

Join us at Forgandenny Village Hall, near Perth, on Tues 10th October at 10am for a farm tour of Culteuchar to discuss all things pasture with Pasture Pod legend Michael Blanche.

Michael will share how he has developed a low cost forage based system at Culteuchar through combining rotational grazing, deferred grazing and forage crops with appropriate genetics.

By moving stock and creating grazing rest in the system as well as long rest periods on deferred hill pastures, the system is creating more space for biodiversity to flourish with grasslands able to grow, create habitat structure and flower.

The day will start with refreshments at Forgandenny Village Hall followed by the farm tour. We’ll then head back to the hall for a complementary lunch.
