Come along to this FAS Sustainable Parasite Control in Sheep meeting at Balminnoch Farm, Staiton, Ayrshire on Wednesday 22nd July at 10:30am start. Here we will discuss practical strategies for sustainable parasite control and protect the long-term effectiveness of wormers and optimise lamb growth rates. Matthew Colston from Elanco will speak about fluke and worming approaches that improve sheep health while reducing parasite resistance and which anthelmintic group to use when. Perry Parkinson will talk about Fecpak and how it works. Also, SRUC Veterinary Investigation Officer Megan Fergusson will speak about ticks and sheep scab and how best to treat these.
