NW New Entrants – Planning for Winter Feeding

Book

As winter looms, feeding of your sheep and cattle becomes more important with pregnant cows and ewes.  Come along and join us for dinner on Tuesday 24th October at the Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk at 6.30pm where we will look at the winter feeding period for ewe hoggs, weaned calves, yearling cattle as well as those in lamb and in calf animals. As a new entrant it can be difficult to know how much feed you have and how much you need.  We will look at how you can draw up a feed plan to workout how much food you have, and if you need more.
