Optimising farmland habitats for biodiversity & production

Join us for an evening of field margins and hedgerows. Dr Lorna Cole will discuss how the value of these much loved farmland habitats depends on how they are managed. Lynne Bates from the Scottish Wildlife Trust and Graeme Walker a Scottish hedgelayer who will provide tips on how to create and enhance hedgerows and species-rich grasslands and field margins.   Dr Celine Delabre will join us from NatureScot to highlight how result-based payment schemes could help improve the benefits of these habitats for wildlife and build farm resilience.
