Sheep Nutrition Workshop – Peebles

Join SAC Nutritionist, Lorna Shaw for this hands-on practical workshop covering sheep nutrition. The workshop will cover:

• How to assess forage quality
• How to build rumen healthy rations based on your forage quality.

The workshop will be hands on and provide you with the skills to develop a ration based on your own context.
For that reason, these workshops are limited to 12 people and booking is necessary.

Participants should, if possible, bring their own:

• Forage analysis results
• A sample of the forage in an airtight container (to prevent smell!) for physical examination
• Any feed labels you have
