KPI Tool

A KPI tool has been developed that will allow farmers and crofters to input data they have already available to them in order to benchmark their farming enterprises and make more informed decisions moving forward. The tool is simple and free to use. It is available on the Farm Advisory Service website. Argyll Discussion group held meetings with farmers and crofters on the Isle of Mull and the Isle of Islay to discuss business efficiencies and adapting when assessing business performance.

We asked for feedback on what sort of benchmarking is required, with a focus on what key performance indicators to assess when considering farming in the area. By localised comparisons farmers and crofters in Argyll can see how their enterprises fit in to the wider region and whether or not they need to make changes or improvements.
