Lothian WIA – Creating an Animal Health and Welfare Plan
Join the Lothians Women in Agriculture group to learn how to create an animal health and welfare plan for your farming business.
Please use the above map for an exact meeting location. Alternatively, use the following What3Words location: Cafe Party at Jupiter Artland.
We will be joined by Captiva Mills, an agricultural consultant in the Edinburgh office and mixed practice vet, who will take us through:
- Whole Farm Plan Animal Health and Welfare Plan
- Preparing for Sustainable Farming funding for animal health interventions
- What you should include in an animal health and welfare plan
- How to get started with dynamic health planning.
This will be a relaxed, informal meeting with lots of opportunity to ask questions, and you will go away more confident on what’s involved with health planning, and able to meet the requirements for the Whole Farm Plan.
We are meeting in the beautiful Jupiter Artland, and attendees will have the chance to walk around the park to see the art installations after the meeting.
Teas, coffees and lunch will be included, so please reserve a space for catering purposes. All are welcome.
