Take Care With Cows

Last month 3 people in the UK were unfortunately killed by cows!

11th September – a walker on a footpath in Cumbria.
11th September – farmer charged by cows in Northumberland.
21st September – a walker in a field in North Yorkshire.

Several others will have also been injured by cows.

• Don’t take chances.
• If you are alone, always use a vehicle and stay near it.
• Always carry a stick.
