Beef Efficiency Scheme
The Beef Efficiency Scheme (BES) is a five-year climate change scheme that aims to help beef breeders improve their efficiency, sustainability and quality of their beef herd – helping increase their genetic value from 2016 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
BES participants will have received a Carbon Audit and had assistance to do this from a qualified farm consultant. This is done via the AgRE Calc© tool and for more information on how to using the tool - click below.
