Livestock Productivity - Dairy

Improving livestock productivity on a dairy farm is a complex process.  The aim is to increase milk yield per cow whilst maintaining body condition score and fertility can often be a challenge.

Below are some areas where farmers can often make small changes in management that will collectively result in improved herd productivity.

How well are dairy farms performing against Scottish Government’s environmental targets? Its good news and progress to reduce emissions has been made.
