Arable+Series: Green Covers Workshop – Kelso
This workshop event investigates the use of summer and autumn sown green covers.
Green covers can be used for fertility building, as a break crop, and can bring multiple soil health benefits. They can also be used to meet the newly revised 2026 EFA Greening requirements.
This is an interactive meeting where you can hear from farmers who currently grow green covers and learn from their experience.
This event will include a field visit to a green manure crop.
Booking is essential. Refreshments will be available on arrival.
