We will start the day at around 11:15am at Bellevue Farm, Blackwaterfoot where we will hear from Ailsa Currie about how the Currie family have diversified their beef, sheep and arable farm to now incorporate farm tours & experiences, holiday cottages and direct marketing of produce all while educating as many people as possible about the farm to fork journey. Also located at Bellevue, is Arran Cheese, where we will hear from Gordon Kinnibrough about the process of making the famous and extremely tasty cheeses they sell and a short tour. After lunch at Bellevue, we will head back to Brodick where we will go to Arran Dairies to hear from Alasdair Dobson all about Arran Ice Cream and how the business and brand has developed. All three of these businesses work closely with each other and work hard to promote the wonders of Arran, a beautiful island with a tight knit community.
