Caithness Women in Agriculture – Mart Meeting

Buying or selling stock for the first time at an auction mart can be a daunting experience. How can you ensure you get the best price for your stock? Do you know what buyers are looking for stock? Do you know how to prepare your animals for sale and know what to look for when you are buying in stock?

Why not come along to the Caithness WIA Meeting on Sunday 18th September at 1pm at Quoybrae Mart where the auctioneer will be explaining about the presentation of sale animals, when to sell stock and what the buyers are looking for. We will be looking at various stock that will be present  and also top tips for selling your cattle and sheep at the mart to help you get the best price.
