Farming with nature: A practical toolkit
Join us at Craigies Farm near South Queensferry to look at the practical management of farmland habitats. We’ll discuss the best ways of managing hedgerows, field margins and other habitats on farms to gain maximum wildlife and biodiversity benefit. With arable land, soft fruit and vegetable growing there’s a diverse range of wildlife habitats across the farm and lots to talk about. We’ll have the chance to discuss the growing importance of biodiversity in future agricultural policy and how this will influence the way we farm in the future. We will also cover the requirements for the Whole Farm Plan biodiversity audit. Following the farm walk attendees will have lunch provided in Craigies Restaurant.
