Finance Training for Common Grazings – Strathy
All clerks, committee members and crofters are invited to join us at the Strathy Hall, Strathy, KW14 7RZ at 6:30pm on Tuesday 12 Sept , for an interactive meeting on finance procedures for Common Grazings. Did you know that there is a difference between how funds should be gathered or distributed, according to whether they are for maintenance or improvement?
Using an invented Common Grazing, we will look at the responsibilities of hard working committee members and different financial scenarios, so you can keep your Common Grazing running smoothly.
Facilitated by SAC Thurso, there will be plenty opportunities to ask questions of Finlay Beaton from the Crofting Commission and Arthur MacDonald.
As we are starting early, a light supper is provided.
This meeting will also run in Lochinver on 20 September, book using the following link: Finance Training for Common Grazings – Lochinver | Events helping farmers in Scotland | Farm Advisory Service (fas.scot)
