Grassland Roadshow Orkney: Soil & Grass

The focus on the day will be how to maximise your grass through increasing the yield and its potential. We will discuss the importance of soil testing, what soil status you should be aiming for and how to get that soil status.

Multi-species sward will also be examined and how it could fit into your system.

Additionally, we will look at the challenges of establishment and maintaining these leys and how we get the grass sward to persist given our changeable weather.
