Integrating Trees Network: Tea and Trees with Crofters
Join ITN for a great online event to chat about planting trees on your croft – come and share your experiences and ask questions.
You’ll hear from two fantastic crofters:
- Phil Knott – Wildlife Croft, Skye has planted a wide variety of trees, including fruit trees, on his croft on Skye, creating a haven for biodiversity.
- Andrew Hall from Shetland has planted trees to provide shelter for livestock, transform boggy areas, and create a scenic area for glamping pods, alongside other benefits.
During this informal session, you’ll have a chance to share your knowledge and experience of trees and crofting. Chat with other crofters, Scottish Forestry and Woodland Trust’s Croft Woodland staff.
Join ITN with a cup of tea to discuss the objectives, challenges and potential for integrating trees on your croft.
This event is free. Reserve your spot today.
