This meeting is aimed at anyone interested in nutrient management planning, particularly those farmers looking for a refresher on how best to work out nutrient requirements and applications.

We will explain the basics of nutrient management planning, complete exercises to work out the nutrient requirement of grass/arable crops, assess the value of organic manure such as muck and hen litter and complete a cost analysis of different bagged fertilisers.
