QMS Deeside Monitor Farm Summer Open Day – Forage and Finishing

The meeting will happen on Tuesday 16th July from 12.30pm, at Duncan and Claire Morrison’s Upper Ingliston farm, Inverurie, showcasing low-input spraying of docks with SoilEssentials’ SKAi sprayer, protecting mixed species swards.

Jill Hunter, Beef & Sheep Nutritionist, will discuss the options where cattle need a nutritional boost.

Highland Meats buyer, Stuart Annand to explain what he looks for in finishing cattle and how farmers can optimise the price they receive.

The event will finish with a BBQ supplied by local company, Louise’s Farm Kitchen
