Shetland Crofters Discussion Group

The third in a series of events looking at new castration and tail docking methods for sheep. We will be getting together with the crofters and farmers who trialed ClipFitter during the lambing season of 2025 to gather their feedback and experiences so we can relate them back to Scottish Government, SRUC Vets and ClipFitter.

Results for different folk locally have been mixed, so the event will be a good opportunity to share your experience and hear about how others got on. Come along to discuss both the opportunities and challenges of using this new system and share what you think Scottish Government need to consider in any change to regulations.
