Western Isles WiA – Sheep & Cattle Records
RPID inspections happen at this time of year, so it is a perfect time to make sure your tagging, sheep and cattle records are all in order.
Cattle records: We will cover the items you would need to show if inspected, such as a herd book (paper or computer) and medicine records, how to use Scotied for Scotmoves, within business moves and My Herd Stats.
Sheep records: We will cover checking teeth to age sheep, red tags and when they are needed, double and single tag use, practical exercise on paper records and using a scanner.
