Wigtownshire Women in Agriculture Group

Come along to our next Women in Agriculture meeting kindly hosted by the Wee Aird Dairy on Monday 29th August at 11am.

With rapidly rising input costs and volatile market prices, farms are having to look into different and unique methods of future proofing their businesses.  One such farm which has taken proactive measures to help support their existing farming business whilst helping to safe guard its existence is the Bridge of Aird.

Having recently appeared on our screens as stars of This Farming Life, the Love Family opened the Wee Farm Dairy in 2021 and have enjoyed great success during their establishment as the first on-farm milk vending machine within Wigtownshire. Come along to hear from Kayleigh Love who will talk us through their farming journey and the steps that they have taken to help future proof their farming business.

This is an on-farm meeting and as such clean footwear and warm clothing is essential.
