Beef & Sheep Outlook for 2017 – event summary

An informative evening meeting on how to address common issues from both a nutritional and veterinary management point of view.  A brief overview of the new priority catchment on the River Don, BPS Greening and Cross Compliance maximising their uses for biodiversity was also covered.

Positive feedback was received from all attendees relating especially to the quality of speakers and presentations. The topics sparked some interesting discussions between the attendees and speakers relating to topical issues including silage quality and how important soils are in getting good quality grass. The high level of engagement was good with all speakers getting some sort of feedback and questions which promoted excellent discussion.
