In this episode Tiffany Mactaggart is joined by Dr Gemma Miller and Dr Jenna Bowen. Gemma discusses greenhouse gas emissions in cattle including considering feed additives to reduce emissions and livestock precision technology for weighing and condition scoring cows.
Jenna discusses current research looking at detecting disease in calves and using the new UHF cattle tags which are to become compulsory and how they can be used to help animal traceability.
