Species-Rich Grasslands

Species-rich grasslands are particularly valuable for wildlife and support a variety of rare species of plants and insects. Despite their value, we have lost approximately 97% of these grasslands. With grazing management key to creating and maintaining species-rich grasslands, landowners are core to regenerating this vital habitat. Innovative, more sustainable, grazing management practices can promote the botanical diversity of grass swards and reduce input costs.
