Springtime lambing season on an organic farm in Scotland. A ewe has just given birth to a black and white lamb, which is lying down on a fresh bed of straw. The attentive mother is cleaning the amniotic fluid from its lambs body as the lamb starts to lift its head and start its new life. The care of its mother is bonding and will encourage it to get up on its feet to feed from her for the first time.
