Ayrshire WIA: Animal Health and Handling

This meeting is going to be an update in animal health and handling at Girtrig beef and sheep farm, Dundonald.

Our guest speakers will include Girtrig’s farm vet who will discuss the latest on animal health for cattle and sheep including bluetongue, shmallenburg and other topical animal health challenges as well as discussing new methods for lamb tail docking and castration.

This will then be followed by a talk from Scot EID’s Dave Kerr who will be talking about the upcoming transition to UHF cattle tags as well as demonstrating the benefits of EID linked equipment.

Join us at Girtrig for an update on all things health and handling.

Lunch will be provided making this a great opportunity to learn from industry professionals as well as networking with fellow women in agriculture.
