New Entrant Finance Course: Introduction to Finance – Huntly

Book event

If you’ve recently established an agricultural business, or are looking to get started in the near future, you need a firm understanding of finance. This New Entrants series has been designed to demystify and develop key concepts you will need to succeed. This course will help you establish systems and processes that you will use until you retire. Those who attend all four sessions will be presented with a certificate attesting to what they’ve learned, so it’s great for CPD too!

This series will develop you in the following areas:

– The different business structures and the responsibilities of each

– Types of finance and where to find it

– Bookkeeping and VAT.

– Accounts/Account Analysis.

– Cash Flow.

There are in-person kick-off sessions being arranged across the country on the 4th/5th/6th of Feb. After which there will be 3 webinars exploring specific areas of finance. Places for the kick-off sessions are limited so act quickly to ensure you get a place.

Join us for the kick-off event in Huntly on Wednesday 5th February. SAC Consulting’s Andrew Coalter will give an overview of the different business structures and their responsibilities and the types of finance available and where to find it.
