Nutrient Management Workshop Aberdeenshire
How much could better nutrient planning save you on your farm?
Following the success of our previous nutrient management workshops, this session will take a practical look at how farmers and land managers can make better use of fertiliser, manure and soil nutrients — while keeping an eye on costs, compliance and future agricultural policy.
We’ll cover the key principles of nutrient budgeting, using soil analysis to inform fertiliser decisions, making the most of organic manures and understanding current requirements around NVZs and nutrient management.
With input costs continuing to put pressure on farm businesses, getting the right nutrients in the right place, at the right rate and at the right time can make a real difference.
Whether you’re already nutrient budgeting or want to get to grips with the basics, this workshop will give you practical knowledge you can take straight back to the farm.
