Profitable Crofting Through Technology – Caithness

Book event

Join us on Friday 6th of March at 12:30pm at Upper Puldagon Farm, By Wick where we will hear from crofter Alan Oag on his newly established drone business. Alan will be giving us a demonstration and explaining the benefits of using a drone for spreading fertilisers, seed broadcasting, biostimulants and micronutrients on your land and how the drone can access remote areas and hard to reach areas without leaving a footprint.

Drone spreading offers numerous benefits, primarily centred on enhanced precision, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability compared to traditional methods. Come along and see the drone in action.

Following the demo and Q&A session, we will have a light lunch and will be giving a practical demonstration on the Clipfitter and Numnuts options for the kinder approach to castrating and tail docking lambs.

Booking is essential as lunch is provided.
