Cultivating the Balance between challenge and opportunity
The Arable Roadshows are back this January, with three events in the Borders, Perthshire, and Aberdeen. Run by the Farm Advisory Service with support from SRUC and AHDB, these roadshows are designed to give Scottish growers the latest know‑how, practical advice, and a chance to share experiences with fellow farmers.
What’s on the agenda?
Morning sessions:
- Hear the latest research results and how they can be put to work on your farm
- Get updates on tackling PCN and what’s being done to help growers
- Look at new opportunities for using pulses in crop rotations
Afternoon sessions:
- Join discussions on the future of arable research in Scotland – what do we really need?
- Explore the key drivers of crop profitability across the UK
- Understand the changes coming to greening measures in 2026
