Grazing for Profit and Biodiversity: Multi-species Sward Selection

In this video, Emily Grant runs us through the different species of grasses, legumes and herbs she has included in their multi-species swards at Coldrochie.

Each species brings a different range of complementary benefits for the farming system such as yield, early season growth, nitrogen fixation, drought tolerance, anthelmintic properties or nutritional value whilst also adding structural, flowering and food source diversity with significant biodiversity benefit.
