Land Management for Lesser Butterfly Orchid

Lesser Butterfly Orchid (Platanthera bifolia) is a long-lived perennial, flowering from June to July. Its habitat is open heath with damp acidic soils such as moorland and heath. It is listed as a UK Biodiversity Action Plan species, and once widespread it is now in decline.
