FAS TV S5 Episode 3
FAS TV covers a wide range of topics across sectors, as well as regular updates on regulatory and policy changes.
It is the Royal Highland Show this week, and in this episode of Agri Culture, we speak to James Logan, the current chairman of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS). James tells us about changes at the Society, his involvement, his life in agriculture and what he is looking forward to about this year’s show.
FAS TV S5 Episode 3
On this week's FAS TV, we are visiting the Deeside and Strathspey monitor farms. As part of the Monitor Farm Programme, Duncan Morrison at Deeside has focussed on his outwintering system using deferred grazing and rolling out bales of forage. Whilst the Smith family at Strathspey are trialling the use of virtual fencing to graze and utilise an area of unused hill ground.
FAS TV is a weekly agricultural show which recreates traditional on-farm visits.
Designed for farmers and crofters, each episode delivers technical messages in a digestible format, with real farmers demonstrating advice in practice.
