Croft Wildlife Walk

Join our evening walk and talk, looking at wildlife and habitats on the croft, followed by supper at Elphin tearooms.  Crofts and Common Grazings have many interesting habitats, home to a large variety of species – some rare – how can we manage these habitats better? We will have a gentle walk around the croft at Elphin, led by ecologist Brendan O’Hanrahan, and crofter Helen O’Keefe, to discuss how we can adjust management of the croft to improve biodiversity.

Please bring footwear that is appropriate for the walk, which can also be disinfected, and waterproof jacket (just in case it isn’t sunny…).

Tea on arrival, and a light supper provided.

Thursday 23rd June, 5.30pm to 8pm
