The Cow of The Future Part 2 – The Solution

Following on from our first Sustainable Beef Systems webinars in 2023/24, series 2 will feature a four part webinar series over the autumn and winter focusing on “the cow of the future”.

Part two will focus on what we can control within our beef herds.

In this webinar Orkney farmer Steven Sandison will share the conclusions of his Nuffield Scholarship which investigated the feasibility of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for the suckler herd and the elements influencing these KPIs. We will also host SAC Consulting’s Sascha Grierson who leads the Scottish Farm Business Survey to discuss the factors we can control to achieve sustainability in the Scottish suckler herd.
