Bringing a Croft into Production

When taking on a derelict croft, it is worthwhile to assess all your options for the croft and formulating a plan before taking steps to address the croft condition.

As a starting point, it is useful to think on the following points:

  • What do you wish to get out of the croft?
  • What time do you have available to work on the croft?
  • Are there family and work commitments to contend with?
  • What level of financial input do you wish to put into the croft?

Our practical guides will help you assess this.
