TN688: Management and Conservation for Farmland Waders

Summary:
Although they are still relatively widespread and common, farmland waders are among the highest conservation priorities in Scotland. This is because four out of the five species have undergone some of the largest population declines of any Scottish birds in recent decades and all five species are red or amber listed species of conservation concern across the UK (Eaton et al. 2015)
