Organics

Farming can be a lonely profession and the North East Organics group provides an ideal opportunity for organic farmers and those thinking of going organic to meet and exchange ideas, learn from each other and current research.

During this first year we introduced the idea of benchmarking and how important it can be in improving business performance and each subsequent year we’ve built on this to provide a range of materials to support organic enterprises. The group has filled a gap and is well supported, making a positive difference and improving efficiency and performance of organic farming businesses and those thinking of going organic. It is supported by both SOPA and the Scottish Soil Association.
