Women in Agriculture – Wigtownshire: Personal Resilience for Business Success
Agriculture, like many industries, is facing a number of challenges at present, from climate change to Brexit. How you react to these challenges will determine the success of your business.
Could what you believe about yourself impact your success or failure? Would looking at a situation through a new lens show new opportunities? Will changing the way you approach challenges lead to increased resilience?
This event will cover:
• Improving business efficiency and profitability through personal outlook
• Business and personal resilience
• Being open to opportunities
• Self understanding and confidence building to overcome barriers
The Farm Advisory Service (FAS) has been running Women in Agriculture events since 2017, and now runs 11 discussion groups across Scotland. The discussion groups and the Facebook group are open to all women working in Scottish agriculture, from those with daily involvement in a farm business, to those who are just starting out and interested in finding out more about farming. This meeting will be run for all 11 discussion groups. For more information please visit www.fas.scot/discussion-groups/women-in-agriculture/
