A Season With Sheep: Lambing, A Season of Opportunity

You have an opportunity to take part in an extra bonus session in the A Season with Sheep series, on probably the one we most look forward to in the sheep calendar – Lambing.

Across the country in the Highlands, Islands and Lowlands the tups are hard at work. It is never too early to plan for the lambing season.

This session will cover what lambing essentials are worth stocking, Outdoor v Indoor lambing, the lambing process and issues that may arise.

SAC Consultant Iain Murdo Macmillan SAC Lewis and Harris will host the meeting with Willie Budge, SAC Thurso and Rob Black, SAC Oban providing expertise from their backgrounds in sheep management and crofting. The session will also host a Q&A session so please get those questions ready.
