All Things Sheep Health – Forfar Smallholders
Ensuring the health of the whole sheep flock is important for many reasons. Specifically, financially and to ensure that sheep are kept at a very high welfare standard.
The meeting will cover several aspects of sheep health
- Lambing including care of ewe and lamb
- Worming – timings and what to use
- Lameness – what is the problem and how should it be treated.
Edwards Hill, a specialist sheep vet from Thrums Vet, Kirriemuir will be the speaker for the evening.
Ample time will be available to ask any questions relating to sheep health – not restricted to the topics covered. The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in sheep – from having a few to a few hundred.
