Fiona Burnett from the Crops and Soils team will give attendees an overview of chemical efficacy, crop disease, and disease forecasting – vital information for the coming season.
Julian Bell from the Rural Business unit will then lead a session on the grain markets, covering points on-farm efficiency, crop production; Brexit and the possible pathways of Britain’s exit from the EU.

Increasing crop output from, especially from reduced inputs can help to increase farm profitability whilst reducing the overall carbon footprint. This meeting aims to help farmers better manage crop growth and output through improved crop health management whilst keeping an eye on the future of grain markets to make calculated business decisions following harvest.
