Common Grazing Workshop – Ness/Barvas/Westside (Evening)

Do you know what your rights and responsibilities are as a Common Grazing Committee?

Do you have any questions regarding Common Grazing Committees but don’t know where to get the answer?

These  workshops are run in collaboration with the Crofting Commission. They will provide existing and prospective committees with a better understanding of the crofting legislation currently in place. They offer a fantastic opportunity for you to get feedback on any questions you may have.

The workshops deliver an interactive board game approach for a maximum of 18 people (6 teams x 3) covering the following:
• Appointment of committees and the roles of office bearers
• Regulations
• Grazing committee functions
• Carrying out maintenance and improvements
• Payments received and liabilities
