There will then be a tour of Border Meats Abattoir with a practical demonstration of carcass classification.
Attendees will discover how you can achieve the best price when selling direct to an abattoir through attaining the desirable carcass classifications for your sheep and cattle.
You will also get an insight into the workings of an Abattoir.
It is aimed at those who are keen to find out more about the end market for their sheep or cattle and how they can influence price.
