OPA-NET Scotland: Novel diagnostic techniques
In recent years awareness of Ovine Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma (OPA/Jaagskiete) in sheep flocks has increased, and more farmers are seeking ways to control the disease. Despite this significant stigma still exists in the diagnosis of OPA and farmers report several limitations that may reduce the uptake of transthoracic ultrasound scanning. Over the course of these two webinars vets and researchers will share the latest developments in OPA awareness, diagnosis, and control.
Join us on Tuesday 15th February at 7.30 pm to learn more about novel diagnostic techniques for diagnosing OPA in sheep from Moredun Research Institute researcher Dr Chris Cousens, and hear how veterinary surgeon Ed Hill, Thrums Veterinary Group uses ultrasound scanning to identify early cases of OPA.
Both webinars will include a Q & A session with the speakers.
These webinars will be recorded, and recordings made available afterwards.
