Pre Lambing Nutrition
Ewe nutrition in the 8 weeks pre lambing is essential to ensure the ewe receives sufficient energy and protein to support the growth of the unborn lambs and milk production. This requirement will change in the lead up to lambing depending on factors such as ewe body condition litter size, forage quality and adverse weather. SAC Sheep Specialist Kirsten Williams will join us to discuss managing nutrition of ewes in the run up to lambing and what sources of energy and protein are best suited to feeding ewes. Join us on Thursday 4th February at 8pm to find out more.
