Smart Energy (Stranraer)
Are you interested in what the options for farm scale renewables could be?
This meeting held in Stranraer will look at;
- What’s next for farm scale renewables;
- Solar thermal for farm applications, hydrogen and heat pumps, and where opportunities for farmers to get involved exist.
It will also cover the development of smart networks, battery storage and heat pump technology – which is increasingly being used for space heating and drying processes.
Speakers include Jim Campbell and John Farquhar (SAC Consulting), Stuart Speake (Soltropy) and Euan Norris, SP Energy Networks.
This will be followed by a farm visit to Craigencosh, by kind permission of Mr W Birkett.
Lunch will be provided. As this meeting is followed by a farm visit please remember to wear warm, clean clothing and footwear suitable for disinfection.
